Stripsody
New sounds, new forms of expressions
1. Intake of air
2. Sound is created in the larynx
3. Sound resonators receive the tone and influence it
4. Articulators shape the sound into recognisable units
That is actually everything that happens when singing, but the results of various subtle variant in the number three and four give a universe full of different sounds: whistling, laughter, screaming, slurping, cackling, howling, roaring, weeping, barking, chirping, grunting, wailing, hooting, hissing, speaking, whispering and screaming.
About the project
Stage performance
The project Stripsody is a mixture between a concert and a stage performance. It leans towards pure music, at the same time frees itself and is developed in contemporary atmosphere. It represents an exploration of music space – clearly prioritizing expression, before signs as such. It explores music space, new sounds, vocal techniques and new expressions. The focus of its artistic concept is a co-position of drama, literature and works of modern vocal music in the contrast. It actualizes the relationship between text and music by bringing it into the space of "music theatre".
