CS Light

We have a need of a soothing story.

Tones are condensed, coloured and given a chance to float. We listen to where the sound will turn, how much time it will need to fall and where the turning point before the new ascent will be. It cannot be done without an empathy strained will. This will holds attention and anticipates the consequences that the sound itself does not have. A tone looks for soulmates, builds a community that needs to be heard and felt.  Elegance and magic, reaching with their repetitiveness for the threshold of the etheric.

About the project

Stage performance

The project CS Light was created to experiment with voices, percussion instruments, body movements and different feelings while performing and listening to musical expressions of the present − minimalist music, the odd relationship between the subversive and the classic.
The time of short stories. CS Light examines the relationship between eastern meditativeness and ascetic aesthetics on the one side, and repetitiveness as a synonym for the mass consumption in environments with lives of abundance on the other. The recurring music and movement structures follow calculating repetitive structures of advertising schemes, their hypnotic aesthetic effect resembling the repetitiveness of long shelves filled with the same products in large shopping centres.
A seeming simplicity of monolithic recurring elements includes richly developed patterns at the core which are actually far more complex than they look.
